The Chilean miners are out…all 33 of them have been rescued! Sixty nine days living in a dark, cramped space, uncertain of the next day, hour, minute, second, wondering if a spouse or child’s face will ever be seen again…Unimaginable! However, one question still remains unanswered: Who is responsible for all this? The unsafe working conditions, the failure to ensure an escape route..all of that has been buried in the midst of the rescue efforts. Well, the rescue effort has been sucessfully completed; now it is time for the responsible parties to come forward. Start the investigation. All the copper and gold in the world does not excuse unsafe working conditions. Limited economic opportunities should not lead hard working people to have to play Russian roulette with their lives in order to feed their families and have a roof over their heads.
